Creative Summary

This work is inspired by the bricks that make up the Ming City Wall in Nanjing, conveying the ancient Nanjing City Wall culture through packaging, brand fonts, visual images, and books, and transforming the impression of traditional soap packaging to awaken people's protection of time-honored brands and city wall sites. The soap packaging uses recycled pulp to restore the tactile feel of bricks, and combines it with the appearance of Ming Dynasty city wall bricks and soap for exterior design. Each stone brick on the city wall is engraved with an inscription, with most of the inscriptions indicating the identity, location, and name of the person who donated the bricks during firing in each county at that time. Some bricks are printed with unique words or place names such as "Fudonghai", "Shounanshan", "Jinling", etc. Restore the special inscriptions and the names of the thirteen gates in Nanjing, and combine them with the square structure of Chinese characters by extracting the appearance of bricks and soap for font design and printing on the packaging. By combining content and visual elements, convey the historical emotions of ancient Nanjing.
